My Project
As a new 4th grade teacher, I’m working to build a strong foundation of engaging and effective resources tailored to this age group. Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards will allow me to access high-quality, standards-aligned lessons and activities that support all subjects and learning styles. These materials will help me launch new projects, differentiate instruction, and keep learning exciting as I grow into this new role and support my students' academic success.
Our school has recently shifted to a four-day school week with 45-minute longer days, which is a big change for students.
To help them stay focused and energized throughout these extended days, I plan to provide a variety of snacks. Having access to healthy snacks during the day can improve attention, boost mood, and create a more supportive and comfortable classroom environment—especially in the afternoons when energy tends to dip.
My students are incredibly special. As a Title I school, many of them face challenges outside the classroom, but they show up every day with resilience, curiosity, and a strong desire to learn. They’re adjusting to new routines, a new teacher, and a longer schedule, and they’ve done so with open minds and positive attitudes. With these resources, I can better meet their academic and emotional needs, helping them feel confident, cared for, and excited to learn.
