Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our school tries to offer snacks for our students, as best as possible, but we occasionally run low, due to students' needs.
We began to provide a small cart that provides free cocoa, tea, and snacks to our high school kids who are utilizing our learning space.
We are also very aware of the fact that we are a Title 1 school and our students don't always get the best start to their day.
So if they arrive to school a little early and need a little something to help them start their day, we would love to help them feel a little more prepared and cared for and ready to take on their day.
