This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My school is a school that specializes in teaching students that are dyslexic or struggle to read. We use a reward system to help motivate our students throughout the day. They have the opportunity to earn Hoot points which are points they can use to get rewards.
These snacks will help us continue to motivate our students throughout the day for their effort, behavior, and hard work.
Every student has the chance to receive Hoot rewards which they then use to get snacks during snack time and lunch time. This system is used schoolwide and students are intrinsically motivated to perform at their best. They enjoy getting the privilege to trade their Hoots in for treats.
