This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This is a recurring project that has helped my students immensely. My hope is to continue advocating for my students' needs and get them the snacks they need in order to be able to focus in the afternoons. My Pre-K 4 students come from a variety of backgrounds. Almost all eat breakfast and lunch at school which happens to take place during the first 3 hours of school. By the afternoon, my students are very hungry again. We have incorporated snack time but many of the students do not have the means to bring a snack from home. For this reason, I am asking for snacks to help re-energize my Pre-K 4 students.
I would like to be able to provide a snack to students who are unable to bring a snack to school.
By donating to my project I will be able to make sure that all my students will have a snack because students can’t focus if they are hungry. Thank you for considering a donation to our classroom!
