My Project
Think about how you feel when your hungry. Are you able to concentrate? Do you feel irritable? Do you stay productive? Now image you are kid feeling that way. Add to that that if you are in High School your lunch is the same portion size that Kindergartners get. Then on top of that you have practice meaning your aren't getting home for a meal until after 6 pm when you had "lunch" at noon.
With all of the complex issues in the world today hungry kids should not be one of them.
This is where I need your help. I am asking for these snacks to provide a boost during the day. These simple snacks will help them focus in class and get their education instead of focusing on being hungry. Please don't let hunger prevent learning for my students.
