My Project

I'm requesting water, juice, chips, cookies, and candy for my students. My class consists of 25 energetic first graders. The qualities that make my students special is their dedication, and passion for learning. I teach in a Title 1 school and 100% of my students receive free lunch. Most of my students can't afford to bring snacks to school.

Snacks will help manage kids' hunger and boost nutrition.

The primary goal of "Snacking Into the New Year" is to address the nutritional need of my students by providing consistent access to snacks. Firstly, I want to enhance the nutritional well-being of my students by providing them with a reliable supply of snacks. Secondly, I want to seek to combat food insecurity by ensuring regular access to snacks. Lastly, my project aims to contribute to improved academic and work performance by providing the energy and nutrients necessary for optimal cognitive function.
