My Project

My students eat lunch at 10:30 in the morning. By about 1 o’clock their stomachs are beginning to grumble again. I would love to be able to have snacks that meet sensory, as well as filling their appetite. I chose crunchy snacks like Pringles and Cheetos and chewy snacks like fruit snacks so they would have a variety of choices.

Sometimes crunching on something will help them wake up or satisfy a need to have something in their mouth.

I also chose the fruit snacks, because sometimes you need some thing sweet. The snacks will help keep them awake and will allow them to have a full stomach until they get home. If need be, they were able to take a snack home if they don’t have anything at their house.
