This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students face many challenges as they strive to read, spell, and write. As a Title I-funded school, many of our students are economically disadvantaged. I am requesting a variety of snacks to help my students make it through a long educational school day.

Many of them do not have the means to bring extra snacks to school in case they feel or get hungry.

As adults, we know how difficult it can be to concentrate on an empty stomach. So with your help, I want to support my students' continued success as the school year draws to a close by providing snacks to help them sustain their energy levels.
