This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are full of ambition and potential, but many face daily challenges due to limited resources. A simple snack can go a long way in creating a positive, encouraging environment.

These fun treats will serve as daily rewards for academic growth, positive behavior, and social kindness.

They’ll motivate students to keep striving, knowing their efforts are seen and celebrated. In our low-income, at-risk school, small incentives make a big difference. These snacks will build community, boost morale, and help students feel proud of their accomplishments—both big and small.

I will use all the snacks to boost morale in my classroom and across campus, like rewarding students adhering to hallway expectations, classroom participation, or just wonderful citizenship and leadership efforts.
