My Project

Our school prides itself on working as a community to educate and uplift the whole child in every child. When Chicago Public Schools had to eliminate bus services to certain schools in the district due to driver shortages, the BSA community stepped up and created before and after-school programs to help parents and ensure their children arrive safely to school.

In an area notorious for being a food desert, our goal is to educate our children on healthy ways to fuel their bodies by exposing them to nutritional snacks they may not otherwise try.

These snacks would be provided to our students during before and after school care to keep students fueled throughout the day.
