My Project

Welcome to our Classroom Bank, where students can earn, save, and spend Class dollars! In our classroom economy, students have the opportunity to earn class dollars in several ways. They can complete jobs around the classroom, participate in activities, or even excel in their work. Once they earn money, they can use it to purchase fun items in our classroom store, which might include school supplies, treats, or fun privileges!

But it’s not all about earning – students also need to pay rent for their space in the classroom, just like in the real world.

Rent is due weekly, and it's important to manage their money wisely.

This system helps teach financial literacy, responsibility, and the importance of budgeting. Students can also learn about saving and spending wisely as they work toward their goals. It’s a fun way to introduce real-world concepts into our classroom while encouraging positive behaviors and teamwork!

In today’s world, financial literacy is not just a life skill—it’s a life essential. That’s why our classroom project focuses on giving students hands-on experience managing money through a student-run store.

By participating in this initiative, students will:

Earn and manage classroom currency, simulating real-life earning and spending.

Budget and save for items like snacks or small rewards, teaching the value of delayed gratification.

Practice real-world math skills in meaningful ways—calculating totals, making change, and tracking expenses.

Develop responsibility and independence, learning how their decisions impact their “financial” future.

Gain early exposure to entrepreneurship by helping run and operate the store.

This project empowers students to become thoughtful decision-makers while building confidence and preparing them for real-life financial situations. Your support helps us create not just a store—but a learning environment where every student can gain skills that will last a lifetime.
