This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My fifth graders are vibrant, eager learners who respond well to positive reinforcement. I love their enthusiasm, but staying focused can be tough.

This DonorsChoose project will fund a PBIS class store with soda, candy, and chips as rewards for positive behavior, promoting respect, responsibility, and engagement.

Students earn points for good choices, redeemable at the store, creating a fun, supportive classroom vibe. These treats will inspire my 10- and 11-year-olds to shine in math, reading, and teamwork, making learning exciting and rewarding. When students feel like they have incentive, learning will improve and behavior will improve.
