This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

All of my students are full of energy and have an excitement for learning. They appreciate the little things, which makes teaching so amazing. I can show my class a picture of something to simple, and they come up with tons of questions and observations. They work hard and they love to learn.

My 26 students are amazing kids and aim to always have a growth mindset.

My school is a Title I school and we all work as a team. We strive to see growth in each and every one of our students and, in order for that, they need to receive the best education and differentiated instruction. I believe I could make that difference in each of my first graders, and I am excited to see what the growth and hard work my class accomplishes this year and future years.

My Project

My students all have huge hearts. Our school is a Title I school, and families have been struggling the past year due to the pandemic,

Our school will be returning to in person learning, 5 days a week and I would love to provide my kids with snacks one or two times per week.

The students all eat lunch at school for free. Therefore, they do not bring any food with them. By the end of the day, they are all letting me know that they are hungry since lunch is in the morning. This project would help me provide snacks every afternoon for my students so they do not go home hungry!
