My Project

In a classroom full of diverse learners, each day presents unique challenges and opportunities. As an educator working with Exceptional Student Education (ESE) students, I see firsthand how small acts of care can make a world of difference in my students' lives. Many of my students come from backgrounds where food insecurity is a real concern, and their focus can be easily disrupted by hunger or low energy. That’s why I’m reaching out for your help.

With "Snack Breaks for Success," my goal is simple: to provide a variety of healthy snacks to my ESE students to give them the boost they need to stay focused, motivated, and engaged in their learning.

These students have an incredible potential to thrive, but they need a little extra support to help them overcome the challenges they face. Providing them with snacks throughout the day isn’t just about filling their stomachs—it's about showing them that they are valued, supported, and capable of achieving their goals.

For many of my students, these small moments of nourishment provide more than just a quick fix—they serve as an essential motivator. When a student knows they have the energy to participate in lessons, they are more likely to engage, share their thoughts, and feel a sense of accomplishment. It’s amazing how something as simple as a snack can spark a moment of joy, boost self-esteem, and strengthen the bond between student and teacher.
