Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am asking for snacks for my class. It is hard to focus on an empty stomach! These snacks will help students focus and be successful all day long.

My students are housed in the most restricted environment due to their individual needs.

We are located in the middle of nowhere and surrounded by beautiful mountains. We practice Community Based Instruction (CBI), where we use our local landmarks/business to learn. CBI helps my students get used to the community and the community used to my students.

The Gatorade is absolutely necessary to quench my students' thirst after being out in the community. The chips and crackers are pre-packaged and easily carried.
