My Project
Since students don’t have access to food for most of the day I like to provide them with a daily snack. Daily snack breaks are needed because their bodies require regular fuel to maintain energy levels throughout the day which prevents them from becoming overly hungry and impacting their concentration in the classroom. Snack breaks help keep them going until dinnertime.
This time also allows children to take a brain break from learning and recharge so that they don’t become fatigued or overwhelmed and gives them an opportunity to socialize about what they’ve learned for the day.
