Help me give my students snack time after a long day of learning! I am asking for preschool-friendly snacks such as goldfish and fruit snacks to offer to my students at snack time.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am an integrated links preschool teacher in an inner city. We have snack time built into our schedule, but due to the rising cost of food and the high poverty rate of our families, not all of my students come every day with a snack.
These little bodies need fuel to keep them going all day!
My students are 3-5 years old and are at school for 7 hours. After a long day of learning and exploring, they are ready to sit with their friends at the mealtime table and have a snack. This time of the day is also important because it gives me time to facilitate conversations between the students as well as work on social and emotional skills.
