This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students love coming to school because I make learning fun. My students work hard each and every day. Unfortunately, they need supplies and experiences that I can’t provide on my own. This includes a daily snack.

My student-inspired grant includes Goldfish crackers, pretzels, and Fruit Snacks for my students to eat during the school day!
Every year, I try and provide my students with the general supplies that they need for the classroom. I also try and provide a small snack for students to eat throughout the day. Unfortunately, this can get quite expensive. Having snacks would make a big difference in our classroom. Students would be able to focus more on their academics and not on being hungry.
