My Students

I am a third-year teacher at a Title I school in an urban setting. The majority of my students come from low-income families and may not have the financial abilities to provide their children with everything they need to be successful.

All children no matter where they come from, deserve a quality education.

My goal is to provide them with the tools they need to be successful. My students have dreams and goals and I want to help them reach their full potential.

My Project

It feels great to be back in person teaching my students. The pandemic has caused some delays in my students' education but they are back in person ready to learn. Being in person has caused some deficits to stand out.

Students cannot learn if they are hungry.

This project will allow me to provide my students with snacks so that they can learn and do their very best. In my experience in education, children who are hungry may act out more or not perform their best. Having a snack can give them the energy to work hard and try their best!
