Snack Attack for Hungry Kindergarten Scholars

Help me give my students snacks to keep their minds motivated and their stomachs full. The population of my students---low income and very high poverty.

My Project

Providing snacks for my students will ensure they have the energy and focus needed to succeed in the classroom. Many of my students come to school hungry or may not have access to nutritious snacks throughout the day. Hunger can be a major barrier to concentration, engagement, and academic performance. By providing snacks, I can help create a learning environment where students are more attentive, motivated, and ready to participate.

My goal is to support my students' well-being by ensuring that hunger does not interfere with their learning.

By securing funds for snacks, I can help students stay focused, reduce stress, and promote a positive classroom atmosphere. This initiative will also teach them the importance of healthy eating and self-care, ultimately contributing to their long-term success both academically and personally.

My students are resilient, hardworking, and full of potential. They come from diverse backgrounds and face various challenges, yet they show up every day eager to learn and grow. Many of them rely on school for not just education but also a safe and supportive environment. By providing them with the nourishment they need, I can help remove one more obstacle standing in the way of their success. A simple snack can make a world of difference in their ability to focus, participate, and feel cared for.
