Whether it is through phase change or the creation of a convection oven to create or trap heat, students will learn or hear about s’mores. Hence, what’s a better way for these wonderful students to enjoy such a sweet delicious treat?
The warm, gooey, chewy, sweet delightfulness of graham crackers, Hershey’s chocolate to the sweet melts of soft marshmallows, will entice my students and show them the depth of how fun science can be.
Yet again, at a different school with different students and a different environment, I’m sure this project will have the same level of success on my current science babies as they learn that science is part of everything and anything. Students will test the convection oven they create to melt and make s’mores. I hope they will completely understand that with science they just have to apply themselves thus having lasting impacts for a lifetime to come.
