My students are always ready to try something new and because of that, I want to be a better teacher every day. I am teaching six sections of STEM classes at four different grade levels in our middle school. My classes are STEM, Robotics, Digital Applications, and Pre-engineering design. I love all the unique learning that is happening. My classes are filled with robotics, designing, planning, creating, building, critical thinking and so much more!
Design is a universal language where students can be as creative as they would like.
I want my students to be able to take designing as far as they want to. MakerSpace is some of my students' favorite class time. They design and create so many amazing things. The 3Doodlers, 3Doodler filament, markers, resin, acrylic, heat transfer vinyl, and wood burning paste will be great for MakerSpace and Fab Lab. We are loving all our new resin molds and our new Glowforge laser. I can't keep up with all they want to learn and do. This should help challenge them and take them a little further. My other students love to use all the materials during their MakerSpace times, too! The cabinet storage is to keep up with my growing robotics numbers.
We are so fortunate to have a STEM program at our school and I want to keep growing and improving it. Our school includes over sixty percent free or reduced-price lunch recipients. Together our community, parents, and staff work to get us everything we need. I am so grateful to have wonderful people like you also partnering with us to help get our students everything they so deserve.
