My Project

My students are always ready to try something new and because of that, I want to be a better teacher every day. Throughout the year I am teaching ten sections of STEM classes at four different grade levels in our middle school. My classes are STEM, Robotics, Digital Applications, and Pre-engineering design. I am loving all the unique learning that is happening. My classes have been filled with robotics, designing, planning, creating, building, critical thinking and so much more!

Design is a universal language where students can be as creative as they would like.

I want my students to be able to take design as far as they want to.

These items will be used during Fab Lab and MakerSpace in my fifth through eighth grade classrooms. My eighth grade students are really big into resin and trying new resin projects. They are also interested in soldering and trying to create new things this way. This year our sewing machines have been updated and I am excited for some students to try out more sewing and embroidery too. These materials will allow students to create and design whatever they imagine.

At our school over sixty percent of our students qualify to receive free or reduced-price lunch. Together our community, parents, and staff work to get us everything we need. I am so grateful to have wonderful people like you also partnering with us to help get our students everything they so deserve.
