Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These supplies will make a huge difference in my 6th grade classroom next year! Markers, glue sticks, and trifold poster boards will give my students the tools they need to get creative and work together on fun, hands-on projects. Clorox wipes and tissues will help us keep the classroom clean and healthy—something that’s super important when you're sharing space with a bunch of middle schoolers! The laminating machine will let me reuse materials throughout the year, and the organizing trays and marker caddy will help keep everything neat and easy to find. All of these items will help create a space where students can stay focused, feel proud of their work, and enjoy learning.
My goal for this project is to give my students the tools they need to collaborate, express themselves through projects, and stay healthy in a well-stocked and welcoming classroom.
Every year, I strive to help my students become curious and creative. They always love learning through projects and hands-on activities, and I've noticed that they thrive in an environment where they feel supported and seen. Our school's population comes from diverse backgrounds and bring so many unique strengths to our classroom, and these supplies will help me give them the kind of space they deserve!
