Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Children love to take pictures and be in pictures. What better way to engage students and capture class activities than using a digital camera!
We are a Title 1 school in CA where most of our students are English language learners and receive free or reduced lunch and breakfast.
These students may not have the exposure to English language needed in order for them to perform at grade level. As a result, their writing and reading skills are sometimes below average.
My Project
Utilizing a digital camera will enhance class writing and research projects. It would be wonderful for them to use their pictures in their writing and PowerPoint presentations. They can also take pictures of school performances , field trips, and make a PowerPoint presentation for the parents.
This camera will help students to become actively engaged in their own learning.
It also will give my students a chance to keep up with the times and integrate technology into learning. Please donate to our project.
