This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am seeking books and math manipulatives for my 1st-grade classroom to create a rich and engaging learning environment that supports the diverse needs of my students. Books are essential for fostering a love of reading, enhancing vocabulary, and developing comprehension skills, while a variety of math manipulatives—such as counting blocks, number lines, and shapes—enable hands-on learning that helps students grasp fundamental math concepts. These resources not only make learning more interactive and enjoyable but also provide essential tools for differentiation, allowing me to tailor instruction to meet each child's unique learning style and pace. By equipping our classroom with these materials, we can create a supportive atmosphere that encourages curiosity, collaboration, and a lifelong passion for learning.
