My students are fantastic second graders at an awesome school. We serve students from many different backgrounds, including a growing ESL population.
My children have a thirst for knowledge and come to school every day ready to learn.
As their teacher, it is my job to give them positive experiences that change their lives every day. It is an incredible honor. Nothing beats the look on their faces when they learn something new! These sweet "Smarties" are my pride and joy.
My Project
These book bins will help my students organize all of their materials for Daily 5 Reading Stations. They have reading books, writing books, pencils, markers, folders, and erasers, that need to be carried with them every day as they rotate through these stations.
Daily 5 is a very important time of our day, where the children practice reading to themselves, reading to a partner, writing, working on words, and listening to model reading.
All of the supplies they use have to travel from station to station with them, and they need something sturdy to carry them around in.
