My Project
My students love to challenge themselves through board games. When the whole class is engaged in playing these thinking games, they are building relationships based around their talents, both intellectual and interpersonal. Too often teachers and young people turn to technology for fun and mental stimulation. These physical games foster a much more collaborative and exciting classroom environment.
The students in my classroom come from a variety of backgrounds, but they are all eager to learn and discover new things.
My hope is that by playing these games, the students build their confidence in their thinking abilities. I love the sense of learning community that playing board games in class builds.
