This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are bilingual, creative, thoughtful and full of questions. They definitely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions. They come to school each day ready to try new things in both English and Spanish and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. They really are my inspiration!
The use of smart pencils is a daily activity in my classroom, especially in Social Studies and Science.
I create Slides Presentations and I have to write on the TV and is not a 100% visible but with the Apple Pencils, they will be able to write on the actual presentation. This will allow the students to see better the answers. At the same time, it is an interactive activity where they can learn, grow and have fun in the Social and Science Class in Spanish. Learning a subject in a second language is not easy and I do my best to make it fun!
