This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Technology is just a mouse click away! Unfortunately, we do not have the resources to fully take advantage of the new Smartboard that has just been installed in our classroom. Our computer is too old to handle this state-of-the-art technology. We need to update to a laptop with the proper software.
I teach a dynamic group of third-graders at a Title 1 school in one of the nation's largest urban school districts.
My class includes foster children, English learners, and special needs students. They are an enthusiastic bunch of young scholars who inspire me every day with their love of learning.
My Project
With the use of our new laptop, we will be able to become techno-savvy in this ever changing world. We will be able to access resources from all over the worldwide web. We will also be able to create our own computer projects to share with others.
A Smartboard without a laptop is like a car without any wheels, it starts up but doesn't go anywhere.
