My Students

My students come from a wide variety of households with more than 50 percent on free or reduced lunch. Students come to school with a variety of skills, talents and challenges.

The purpose of my DonorsChoose.org project is to help my students succeed in the best ways imaginable by creating a 21st century classroom where there is a connection between students learning content and skills necessary for high school and the careers of their choice.

Students deserve resources to help them succeed.

My Project

The purpose of this project is to update the current technology in my new classroom with a SMART TV and mount. I am entering the 2019-20 year going in to a class that does not have a SMARTBoard or newer projection device except for a basic projector and pull down screen.

The SMART TV will allow me to streamline my content and make it easier to display content to students.

The TV will also provide students the opportunity to come to the screen to point out and show other classmates correct answers to geography or historical questions. It will also increase interactions between me and my students.
