This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am moving up this year with several of my students. They are smart, motivated, and eager to learn. Even though many of them are learning English, are new to the country, or are facing financial instability, they put their all into learning and do so well. Unfortunately, we have a problem with their personal supplies.
We need storage at their seats.
We have tables, not desks; so chair pockets are the perfect solution. The students use crayons, pencils, scissors, and glue daily. They need a place for their books and papers. Leaving them on the table makes the space unorganized and confuses the students on whose supplies belong to whom. The chair pockets will allow them each to have individual storage for their own items and will increase class harmony. When the students can access their own items in less time, brainpower is wasted on organization, and more time is available for filling their hungry young minds instead. Please help us make this idea a reality. Thank you so much for your support of these super students!
