Small Town, Big Dreams...Setting the Pace!

Help me give my students Garmin Forerunner 35 watches and speed agility training sets to help with cross country training.

My Students

My students are uniquely wonderful; bright, funny, curious, talkative, shy, athletic, brave, optimistic, and charming! They have a zest for life and learning. Unfortunately, they have missed almost two years of face-to-face instruction due to Hurricane Michael, followed by the pandemic.

With your help, I would love to provide them with Garmin GPS watches and speed agility training sets as we try to bring a sense of normalcy to our students.

My Project

This is our first year for middle school cross country. Our students are excited for this opportunity and have big dreams of athletic cross country scholarships. As this is new for them, they have much to learn about pacing themselves while running.

The Garmin GPS running watches will help them learn to track their pace and keep an eye on their timing while running.

These watches, along with the speed agility training sets, will be a game changer for these new runners! The requested items will help them prepare for race day and provide motivation to keep running towards their dreams!
