This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We could really use basic supplies! A lack of funds means a decrease in spending. Unfortunately, many schools like ours can't afford ample quantities of antibacterial gel, paper, and folders. These things can help make a big difference in student success.

I work at a low income, Title I school at which most of our students qualify for free lunch.

Many of my students will be the first in their families to graduate from high school. Many of my students are college-bound, highly motivated, hard working and dream of success.

My Project

I am asking for some basic supplies for my classroom. Antibacterial gel and disinfecting wipes will help keep kids healthy and in school, rather than sick and at home. Paper will allow me to provide important handouts, worksheets, letters home and score reports. Folders and hanging file folders allow me to create student portfolios so students can keep track of their progress. I'm hoping that the donation of these supplies will also help improve student morale, which will lead to greater achievement .
