My Project

I am a reading interventionist working with students in grades k-5, who need targeted support in foundational literacy skills. A small group instruction table will provide a structured, engaging space where students receive personalized attention to strengthen their reading skills.

This table will be the center for lessons grounded in the science of reading, focusing on phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension.

Research on the Science of Reading highlights that small group instruction is one of the most effective ways to provide explicit and structured practice in the foundational skills needed for reading. With this resource, I can deliver explicit, systematic instruction that builds confidence and helps students gain the critical skills needed to grow into strong, independent readers.
