This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Small groups, or centers, have been shown to promote student learning. It gives students the opportunity to be in charge of their own learning while also practicing new skills catered to specific learning abilities. It is also a time to see what each of my students needs to continue being successful in the classroom.

With these new learning tools, my small groups will be more successful.

They will help my students with their social-emotional learning as well as their academics. Practicing these skills will set them up as they move to first grade.
