My Project
Hi! for this project I am requesting an organizing cart, handheld mirrors, a door bell, magnetic wands with bingo chips, voice recorders, pencil boxes, playdoh, pom poms, a labeler, dry erase pockets and various phonics games as well as few other small miscellaneous items that will help my small group rotations. These materials will help my students on my caseload independently work on centers while I am providing one on one targeted instruction. First and foremost, having an organizer cart is essential; this cart will help keep all the materials for various centers systematically arranged and easily accessible, reducing the time spent searching for resources. A labeler will enhance this organization by clearly marking bins, folders, and areas, making it easier for students to find and return materials, which is crucial for maintaining a structured and supportive learning environment. The doorbell is a great way to let students know when to rotate.
These resources will support differentiated instruction, allowing students to practice phonics at their own pace and according to their individual needs.
The pencil boxes are needed to keep writing tools and other small supplies neatly contained and readily available. The handheld mirrors, magnetic wands with bingo chips, playdoh, pom poms, and dry erase pockets will be used during group rotations for various activities. Phonics games and manipulatives are crucial for reinforcing foundational literacy skills in an engaging and hands-on manner, helping students grasp essential phonics concepts through interactive play. Lastly the voice recorders will help me with my centers by pre-recording instructions so that even my non readers know what to do and don't have to continue to ask in case they forget.
