This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
One of the things I love most about my students is their curiosity, resilience, and eagerness to learn—especially when they’re given the right environment and tools to thrive. Each child brings something unique to our classroom, and it’s my goal to meet them where they are and help them grow.
A kidney-shaped table would make a significant difference in our learning space.
It allows me to bring students together in a small-group setting where I can provide individualized support and focused instruction. This setup creates a welcoming space for meaningful conversations, targeted lessons, and collaborative learning—especially beneficial for students who need extra guidance or just a little more encouragement.
Many of my students come from low-income families, and I see firsthand how much they benefit from personal attention and a structured, supportive learning environment. This table would help me deliver that more consistently, offering each child the chance to feel seen, heard, and supported.
