Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I absolutely love how curious, energetic, and resilient my students are. Every day, they come to our small group sessions ready to learn, try new things, and support each other. I am inspired by their determination to overcome challenges and their excitement when they master new skills.
With your generous support, resources like headphones will help my students focus during individualized lessons and digital activities without distractions.
Pencils are a simple but essential tool for brainstorming, practicing writing, and working out math problems. An iPad will give us access to interactive educational apps and engaging digital content tailored to each learner’s needs. The Apple Magic Keyboard pairs with the iPad to help students develop their typing and technology skills, making it easier for them to complete assignments, conduct research, and express their ideas digitally. Dry erase markers make our small group whiteboard sessions dynamic, allowing students to share, correct, and celebrate their thinking in real time. And of course, treats serve as positive reinforcement, motivating my students to do their best and making our classroom a warm, encouraging space.
