My Students
Hello! My name is Mr. Kalan. I am a public school special education teacher of a fifth grade, integrated, coteaching class. Entering the 2019-2020 school year will be my first year teaching 5th grade as a co-teacher to 32 students. I love teaching and I truly bring the passion for learning to work each day!
My students love learning and having fun in the classroom as well.
My students, at times, might appear distracted; yet, this is the nature of their learning disability. I am constantly searching for new, innovative ways to maintain the interest of all my students in everyday learning.
The use of this table will provide a distraction free environment for all my 32 students. They Learn their very best within the confinements of a small group and individualized learning setting that works for each student. For those who do not know my teaching style, I am strongly devoted. Whether arriving an upmost of an hour early to school and staying a minimum of two hours after regular school hours, I spend numerous amounts of time planning and preparing for my students to have the best possible educational opportunity!!
My Project
As a passionate teacher who rarely ever takes a lunch break, this table will be used to maximize small group instruction. As the special education teacher, I will be able to focus and provide rigorous instruction for my students with special learning needs. Your support will be greatly appreciated and used every minute of each school day!! Without this table, providing small group instruction will be quite difficult due to the impossibility for a teacher to micromanage every learning aspect of each of their 32 students. This table will allow the teacher to pull up to 6 students in 15 minute intervals to maximize individualized classroom instruction. Please help this dedicated teacher make a huge difference in lives of 32 students!!
