Small Group Table for First Grade Readers, Writers, and Mathematicians!
My students need a new table so we have a space to meet and work together in small groups!

My Students
My students are first graders who are from middle to lower income families. We are from a Title I, inner city school, where materials are often hard to come by. This, however, does not stop my students from loving to learn new things every day.
I am so lucky to have such a caring and imaginative group of students.
My students are always willing to work together to help their fellow classmates. My goal this year is to continue to grow their love of learning and their love of school, to make them even more successful.
My Project
We're asking for a new small group table to give us a place to meet and learn. This table will serve as our meeting space to practice daily guided reading, writing, and math. The shape of this table will allow me to easily meet with all students in my flexible learning groups.
Working in small groups allows students to make growth and this table will provide us with the space to reach our goals!
I'll easily be able to conference with students to enhance their writing, listen to students read and help them practice new strategies, and guide students to use hands-on math manipulatives to work on new skills. Overall, this table will give me a great space to grow my students love of learning!
