Help me give my students some awesome writing tools.
These light boxes will allow my students to use word tiles to help them practice their writing and promote independence. This will help them
with their writing direction.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Practicing writing is a valuable skill as students move through their academic careers. Writing independently allows student to have another way to communicate and promote their unique thoughts.
Being able to write well creates a well rounded and confident student.
The more practice they have writing throughout the day, the better they will get at writing sentences and later on paragraphs. Having multi-sensory resources allows students to have multiple ways to access writing. This also helps students to be independent and take responsibility for their own learning. It’s a great tool to support all level of writer as well.
