My Students
As a first year teacher and this school year halfway through, I wonder who my students will be and pray that I have/had the ability to make the difference that they need in their lives. I have no doubt that my students will be creative, thoughtful, and full of wonder as they continue their learning underneath my guidance!
We are a classroom that cultivates kindness, support, and creativity.
My wish is that they are always able to come into my classroom each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically.
My Project
The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my classroom already have a place within our home! In other words, I know exactly where everything will go, especially since they will enhance our small group intervention block! The only problem is... we need assistance getting the materials in our classroom door! The organizational shelf will be placed on the in the back of our classroom, assigned to each group within my intervention blocks. This way I have easy access to each student folder and can easily separate groups by color, material, etc.
Planning and lessons will become much easier and interventions will be a much smoother process from day to day.
Our classroom tries to be as useful as possible because I hate wasting paper! My class loves using their whiteboards! What better way to implement the two within whole-class and intervention groups than to use dry erase pockets? My students will love having access to these tools! I will especially love the paper we can save and the less frequent trips to the copy machines!
Students desperately need their own mailbox to home their quality work! Providing them with an organizational tool to receive graded classwork to take home at the end of each day, will have them leaving our classroom proud each and every single day. With this said, students are always able to come back each morning eager to learn and expand their learning.
The donations to this project will help me be able to help improve my intervention instruction, become more organized, and ensure quality learning within my classroom.
