My Project
I teach a 6th grade math class filled with students from diverse backgrounds, each bringing unique strengths and perspectives to our classroom. To support their learning and foster deeper engagement, I’m requesting two whiteboards and a class set of graphing lap boards that will be used for small group instruction and collaborative problem-solving.
These whiteboards and lap boards will allow me to create flexible student groups and provide space for them to work together, share strategies, and visually express their thinking.
This kind of interaction is especially powerful in math, where collaboration and clear communication lead to stronger understanding.
