My Project

Small group counseling sessions allow me to target specific needs in our school population. Calm Strips will be given those who need them to regulate their emotions. The games will be used during small group sessions to help students with their social-emotional needs as well as learning healthy coping skills. The Social-Emotional writing kits will be used in both small group and classroom lessons. Some items, such as the Mandela mats will be used in a classroom guidance lessons on mindfulness. The Little Spot book as well as Bucket Fillers will be used in K-2nd grade classroom lessons to help our younger students.
