This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Small group instruction is a cornerstone of my teaching philosophy.

It allows me to tailor lessons to meet the diverse needs of my students, provide individualized attention, and foster a collaborative learning atmosphere. With your support, we can significantly enhance these small group sessions.

Here's how the materials you provide will make a difference:

Whiteboards and Dry Erase Markers: These tools will bring our lessons to life! Students can actively participate by solving problems, brainstorming ideas, and visualizing concepts directly on their own whiteboards. This hands-on approach promotes engagement and deeper understanding, especially during small group activities.

Storage Solutions: Keeping our materials organized is crucial for maximizing learning time. Storage solutions will allow us to quickly access and distribute resources during small group sessions, ensuring smooth transitions and focused learning.

iPad and Apple Pencil: In today's digital age, technology is an invaluable tool. The iPad and Apple Pencil will open up a world of interactive learning experiences. We can use educational apps, create digital presentations, and explore virtual simulations during small group time. This technology will also help students who need visual or auditory modifications to their learning.

Sensory Tools: Creating a safe and supportive learning environment is essential for all students. The calming toys will help students regulate their emotions and return to a state of focus. The calm corner is especially useful during small group time, if a student needs a moment to regulate before rejoining the group.
