This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

What I love about my students is their curiosity, resilience, and the way they show up ready to learn in multiple languages every single day. Many are multilingual learners navigating new academic and social spaces, and they thrive when the environment supports movement, choice, and comfort.

These stackable stools will create space, allowing me to bring more students into my office for ESL pull-out groups, and the small adjustable chair for me will help me stay close to their level, physically and relationally, so I can support their learning without hovering or towering.

With these tools, I can build a classroom that’s responsive, inclusive, and ready for the joyful work of growing readers, writers, and thinkers.
