My Project

My students love to work toward special classroom celebrations, and I want to give them something fun and motivating to look forward to. With a Ninja Slushi machine and supplies, students will be able to enjoy a refreshing slushie once a month as part of our classroom incentive program. This project will help them see that hard work pays off, encourage teamwork, and build a positive classroom community.

I teach a group of diverse learners who thrive when given clear goals and motivating rewards.

My students have Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and work hard each day to reach their academic and behavioral goals. Incentives like this provide a tangible, exciting way to recognize their effort and perseverance.

By tying slushies to both individual and group goals, students will learn the value of persistence, teamwork, and celebrating success together.

Staying motivated throughout the school year can be difficult for students, especially when they’re working on skills that may not come easily. Many of my students need extra encouragement to stay on task, complete work, and meet their goals. A monthly slushie celebration will serve as both a group collaborative incentive (when the class works together meeting a target) and an individual incentive (recognizing students who go above and beyond).

With a Ninja Slushi machine and supplies, I can create a consistent incentive system students look forward to. Each month, we'll have a slushie day where students celebrate their accomplishments — whether it’s reaching IEP goals, completing homework, or showing positive behavior. This fun, school-safe treat will help reinforce the connection between effort and achievement.

This project will help students stay motivated to work toward both individual and group goals, build a sense of community through shared monthly celebrations, and experience positive reinforcement in a way that is fun, engaging, and memorable.
