My Project
As a speech therapist working with elementary school students, I’ve seen firsthand how hands-on activities can make a significant difference in student engagement, learning, and speech development. Many of my students, particularly those with speech and language delays, benefit from sensory-rich activities that stimulate multiple senses. One of the most effective tools we can use is SSLime
Slime is more than just a fun, tactile experience—it provides a unique, multi-sensory way to improve focus, build communication skills, and encourage verbal interaction.
However, the glitter, slime solution, and other materials needed to create slime safely and effectively are not always readily available. This project aims to provide the necessary supplies to integrate slime-making into my speech therapy sessions, allowing students to explore language development through a highly engaging and enjoyable activity.
