My Project
Our Student Council would like to start a buddy time with special needs children. Our first activity would be to read the book The Slime That Wanted to Matter. After reading the book, the students would use the ingredients to create slime as a fidget with their new buddy. The slime can be used as a calming mechanism, and it helps with coordination and concentration skills.
Inclusion is beneficial for all.
Community service is a major part of the student council. At our school, service starts in our school. We want all students to feel welcome at our school.
